From the campsite you have amazing views over the Firth of Clyde and of Ailsa Craig. At the Holiday Park most of their caravans are privately owned, with the owner renting out to caravans for interested parties. All the caravans at Turnberry are of the highest standards and offer the best of equipment available. Some of the caravan have are on-suite and with the standards of caravans always increasing, Turnberry always try to keep their caravans up-to-date. On the site it has is a heated indoor swimming pool and all the other facilities listed below.

The area of Turnberry is famous mostly for its golf and five star hotel. This is home to the British Open every few years and was last held at this course in 2009. During the time when the Open comes to town you will find it hard to get onto this camp site, so watch closely if you are planning to visit during one of these events.
The holiday park is always offering caravans for sale. These can be for as little of £10,000, but you will have your yearly site fees on top of this. But buying a caravan is sometimes the ideal situation if you have visited the park before and always want to have your holidays there. But remember if you are planning to do this, you will probably want to spend your holiday during the peak renting time and this could see the caravan not making the money it needs to for covering its costs.
