Glasgow is Scotland largest city by a good distance. Some would say Glasgow should be the capital of Scotland, but that can be discussed another day. Glasgow is famous for its shipbuilding and the Clyde, but Glasgow is much more than that. It has so much architecture that you would wonder the streets amazed.
Museums everywhere and of course football. Rangers and Celtic are the two big teams in Glasgow, but are also the biggest times in Scotland by a big margin. Glasgow is so close to other areas of Scotland and is only one hour from Glasgow and just 30 minutes on a train to the Ayrshire coast. An of course Glasgow is just a short distance away from Loch lomond which is one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland. Glasgow like Edinburgh is another place you have to visit and with the amount of caravan parks around the Glasgow area (like in Ayrshire) you must at least have a day visit to this very historic city.
